Where to Find Silica in Assassin’s Creed Origins?
The best way to find a significant amount of silica is by completing the tombs in Assassin’s Creed Origins and also the Isu vaults. While there are also locations across the map where players can pick up some silica, these marked locations are the best. There are over a dozen of these locations where players can collect silica and each one has multiple pieces to gather.
The first step for players in the early part of the game should be the most obvious spot to pick up silica: Giza. As a testament to Assassin’s Creed Origins’ historical accuracy, the enormous pyramids are home to the tombs for Khufu, Kharfe, and Menakure.
Combined, these hold 10 silica for players to discover as they explore these tombs. Silica is usually placed on the ground and off the beaten path within these puzzle areas, so players need to exhaust all paths to pick up all the possible pieces.
What is Silica Used for in Assassin’s Creed Origins?
The hunt for silica has a great reward at its end for players looking to earn themselves one of Assassin’s Creed Origin’s best outfits. Hidden underneath the Great Sphinx of Giza is a passageway that eventually leads to a large map room. If players have found each one of the twelve stone circles in the game and completed them, then twelve lights will shine onto the map and open up a passageway to a hidden area.
This hidden area in Assassin’s Creed Origins is actually an Isu vault known as Eesfet Oon-m’Aa Poo, and it has a stone pillar in the middle of the room. Players can exchange 50 pieces of silica for the Isu Armor set at that pillar. While this outfit doesn’t grant players any specific powers, it is one of the more interesting options in the game.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
