As a part of the third episode of Creed Relay’s AC Sisterhood Speaks! podcast, Kim came on as a guest to give an inside look at the development progress on the concept art. While the artist speaks initially about different aspects, like designing the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla character Ivarr, the topic then turns to the difficulty of interpreting Sebastian Dell’Aria’s AC Sisterhood logo into the game.

According to Kim, getting the AC Sisterhood logo into Valhalla as a tattoo was somewhat difficult, since it couldn’t be quite as simple as transposing the design directly. The design had to be altered specifically into the art style of the rest of the game, as otherwise, taking Dell’Aria’s unaltered symbol wouldn’t have let the tattoo feel like a real part of Eivor’s world. As a result, Kim mentions the need to include a lot of smaller, more intricate designs, such as adding Nordic inspired symbols into the symbol, as well as detailing the snake that hangs across the AC Sisterhood logo.

In addition to commenting on the difficulty of designing the pattern and giving it a good look that both represents the AC Sisterhood logo and the design of the game, Kim also mentions understanding what the symbol means now to the community. As a result of the impact that the logo has had, some fans have even begun getting the tattoo from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla onto their own bodies, as opposed to just on Eivor. It meant a lot to the interviewers as well, as the AC Sisterhood Speaks! podcast is the exact group that the original logo was created for, as a celebration of the women inside and outside of Assassin’s Creed.

The AC Sisterhood logo has become a massive symbol for a huge portion of the fanbase since it was first shown off earlier in 2020. It can’t really be understated how much people have connected to the female characters in the series, with the two most recent female protagonists, Kassandra and Eivor, standing out as some fan favorites. So, the simple inclusion of the fan-made logo as an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla tattoo is a great way to reach out the the series’ community.
